Apex Netball Ltd Code Of Conduct
To ensure everyone at Apex Netball Ltd has fun, feels safe, and enjoys participating in netball, all members are expected to uphold the high standards of behaviour outlined below.
Players
As a player, I will:

Play fairly, follow the rules, and show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials.

Wear appropriate kit for training sessions and matches, ensuring my hair is tied back, nails are short, and all jewellery is removed.

Avoid inappropriate language or behaviour.

Follow all Apex Netball Ltd policies and procedures.

Demonstrate good sportsmanship and teamwork by being friendly, considerate, and kind to others.

Listen to my coach and always give my best effort.

Welcome and encourage new members, recognising and respecting individual differences.

Inform a coach or responsible adult if I need to leave the court or training area.

Speak to the Safeguarding Officer or a trusted adult if I am worried about any behaviour or situation.
Parents and Carers
As a parent/carer, I will:

Encourage my child to play within the rules and show respect to coaches, players, officials, and spectators.

Follow all Apex Netball Ltd policies and procedures.

Act as a positive role model by promoting high standards of sportsmanship and behaviour.

Respect the rights, dignity, and worth of all individuals.

Refrain from any form of discriminatory, abusive, intimidating, or anti-social behaviour

Support the club in providing a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants
Coaches
As a coach, I will:

Act as a positive role model by treating players, parents, fellow coaches, and officials with fairness, consideration, and respect.

Maintain high standards of language, behaviour, punctuality, preparation, and presentation.

Create a positive and enjoyable environment that inspires and motivates players according to their individual abilities and potential.

Ensure all training sessions and activities are safe, appropriate, and suited to the age, experience, physical development, and emotional needs of participants.

Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements and follow club policies and procedures at all times.

Understand and adhere to the club’s safeguarding policy and report any concerns promptly to the Safeguarding Officer.

Promote equality, inclusion, and respect throughout all coaching activities.
